New this week from Inception Media Group is The Dead and the Damned 2, directed by Rene Perez, and starring Iren Levy, John J. Welsh, Richard Tyson, and Robert Tweten.

"From the Director of "The Dead and the Damned" comes a high octane sequel in a savage land where zombies roam freely - Lieutenant Colonel Sawyer is armed with machine guns, body armor and courage. He is on a mission to give his family a burial at sea. To reach the coast, he must enter a quarantined infected zone and fight through hordes of bloodthirsty zombies. There he encounters a group of survivors including a young woman who is a target of both the male survivors and the ravenous zombies. To protect the last non-infected humans and complete his mission, Colonel Sawyer must face, the Dead, the Damned and the Darkness."

The Dead and the Damned 2 is available now on DVD and Amazon Instant Video.

Zombies! In A Volcano!

Two things are inevitable - the zombie apocalypse, and Danny Trejo fighting zombies in said apocalypse. And now he is back in action, fighting the good fight against the undead in Volcano Zombies.

This time around, "a sheriff must help an estranged family evacuate before a volcano erupts, at the same time fighting off a horde of lava-filled zombies brought to life by the cursed mountain."

Volcano Zombies was directed by Rene Perez, written and produced by Jeff Miller and Jason Ancona, and stars Trejo, Tom Downey, Moniqua Plante, Robert F. Lyons, Nicole Cummins, Kevin Norman, Julia Lehman, Kyle T. Heffner, Tom Nagel, Adam Gregor, Jenny Lin, and Morgan Lester.

The film is currently wrapping up post-production now and looking for distribution. You can follow along on the official Volcano Zombies Facebook page for updates.
