New on DVD, Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D This Week: Resident Evil: Afterlife

Just released today - Resident Evil: Afterlife.

Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and starring Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter and Wentworth Miller, Afterlife is the fourth installment in the Resident Evil film series (and also the highest grossing entry with a $60 million + domestic box office).

Sony Pictures is presenting the title on three different formats - DVD, Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D.

After a one-woman assault on the Umbrella Corporation's fortress, Alice's (Mila Jovovich) superhuman abilities are neutralized. Now, fleeing the Undead masses created by the T-virus, Alice reunites with Claire Redfield (Ali Larter) and her brother, Chris (Wentworth Miller). Together they take refuge with other survivors in an abandoned prison, where a savage zombie mob stands between them and the safety of "Arcadia."
