New on DVD this week from Synapse Films is The Definitive Document of the Dead, a revamped and expanded version of this aply named definitive George Romero documentary.

The Syfy Channel's special effects make-up competition show Face Off takes on the living dead with Resident Evil director Paul W.S. Anderson in tonight's episode, "Alice in Zombieland", at 9pm ET.
